Baseball Plus Summer Camp
CAMPER INFORMATION

CAMP DAY: Camp begins at 8:30am on Mondays and 9:00am Tuesday thru Friday. Morning meeting is an important part of the day, please arrive on time. A snack break is given mid-morning. Half day dismissal is at 1:00pm. Full-day campers eat lunch after half day dismissal. Full day dismissal is at 4:00pm.
SNACKS AND LUNCHES: All campers should bring a snack and full day campers should also bring lunch. Snacks and lunches must be packed in a zip lock bag, clearly marked with your child's name. (small coolers and cooler bags are too bulky to fit into our cooler) Snack and lunches will be kept in a cooler until the appropriate time. We ask that campers not bring soda or candy to camp.
EQUIPMENT LIST: All campers should bring the following equipment to camp.
- Baseball Glove
- Cleats, sneakers, turf shoes
- Baseball pants or athletic pants. Shorts may be worn only for skills periods other than sliding. Long pants must be worn for games.
- Protective athletic cups are required for boys over nine years old.
- Sun block - We are not allowed to apply or provide sun block. Please apply before camp if desired.
- Insect Repellent - We are not allowed to apply or provide insect repellent. Please apply before camp if desired. PLEASE CHECK YOUR CHILD FOR TICKS EACH EVENING.
- Personal bats may be brought to camp but are not necessary.
- Campers will receive team hats, team tee shirts on the first or second day of camp. Please bring hat to camp on Monday morning.
If it is raining in the morning on a camp day, please call (203) 438-4131 to find out if camp will be held at the fields or inside at Baseball Plus, 88 Sugar Hollow Rd., Danbury. (Rte. 7, 1st building after Ridgefield BMW.)

PAYMENT: Payment in full must be made 1 week in advance of camp sessions. Register online for secure credit card payment.
The State of Connecticut Department of Health requires us to have these documents on file before your child starts camp. You can download these documents from our website. Please call us if you have any questions.
MEDICAL FORM. A medical form must be completed, signed and returned to us before your child starts camp. We will accept a copy of a school or camp medical form as long as it is dated within the last three years and has an immunization record. BY STATE REGULATION, YOUR CHILD MAY NOT ATTEND CAMP UNTIL THIS FORM IS FULLY COMPLETED AND RETURNED TO BASEBALL PLUS.
Campers who have been with us in previous summers may already have a medical form on file (the forms are good for 3 years from the exam date). Please contact us to confirm we have a form on file for your child.
AUTHORIZATION FOR ADMINISTARTION OF MEDICATIONS: If your child will be bringing any medication to camp (over-the-counter or prescription medication) State Regulation requires us to have an Authorization for Administration of Medications on file. It must be signed by your child's Physician. We will not be able to accept any medications including Epi-pens, Benedryl, or Inhalers unless we have the proper authorization. By State Regulation, children are not allowed to hold and /or administer medication.
BUS PERMISSION SLIP: Required to be on file for all campers in case of rain/thunder showers in the middle of a camp day. Children will be transported by bus
(Ridgefield School buses are on standby) to our facility at 88 Sugar Hollow Rd. (RTE 7).
